At DFO Moorabbin, we’re committed to connecting with our local communities and supporting initiatives that can make a positive impact on the community. If you’re a community group in the area and would like funding for an initiative or program, read on for more information and how to apply. The DFO Community Grants program offers community groups the chance to apply for a grant ranging from $1,000 - $10,000.

About the program

The 2024 DFO Community Grants program provides financial support for community groups to develop and deliver programs, events, and initiatives to enrich the experiences of our local communities. This year, the program will be looking for community programs and initiatives that focus on the following areas.

•         Youth engagement and employment

•         Environmental rejuvenation

•         Education

•         Community wellbeing

Eligibility

The program is open to organisations such as community associations, not-for profit and charitable organisations and social enterprises. Please note, organisations must have DGR1 status to be eligible.
